I am a New York City based poet and theater maker (playwright, director, composer, curator, performer) with work previously performed at The Tank, Classic Stage Company, Dixon Place, Target Margin Theater, Theater for the New City, The Bushwick Starr, Uncanny Valley, BAX, and inside a 1999 Cadillac DeVille.
I am a MacDowell Fellow (2015, 2017), a Virginia Center for the Creative Arts Fellow (2019), a Vermont Studio Center Fellow (2020), and have been a Visiting Artist at Bucknell University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, and St. Joseph’s College, where I led object theatre workshops, a medium I have been working in since 2014. As an Artist-in-Residence at Target Margin Theater (Winter 2019), I worked on a choral object movement project titled Gestures, inspired by Jean Tinguely’s White Moving Forms on Black Background. I teach writing at New York University, and received my MFA from Brooklyn College in 2012 under the tutelage of Mac Wellman and Erin Courtney.
